Buffet restaurant

AMAZING Korean BBQ, great cuts of meat, excellent sides (kimchi was the best I've had).It had a great atmosphere with all the charcoal cooking and the smell of all the cooking meat.Then to top it off an dessert bar with nice cakes, custard and ice cream. Loved this place so much.

Went there for the buffet. It makes up in quantity what it lacks in quality. It is probably better and more cost efficient to order al a carte. Pizzas looked good. I don't think I'll be going there again. Staff were friendly.

Have been to Epicurean a few times. Find it an overall pleasant experience. The staff have been fantastic - super attentive and friendly. I personally think the seafood/cold meat section is the highlight in terms of food quality and value for money. The hot food selection is huge and you are certainly spoilt for choice but I find the taste of most of it pretty average - especially the Asian section. It’s definitely not cheap - I think we paid $125 per head for a Saturday evening with drinks on top. Would probably go back but not in a rush.

Are the oysters good? More than an odd one tastes off. The sushi bar has limited selection though the sashimi was not bad. The roast meat was tasteless.

Update Jan’23Lunar New Year Lunch at Atrium on a weekday with their special Chinese New Year menu. The specials include the DIY ‘Lao Hei’ (toss salmon with vege for prosperity), mini crayfish (yuppies), plenty of CNY crackers and snacks in additional to the usual spread.Overall taste is good for Asian cuisine compared to the western hot food this time.Update Sept’22Lunched at Atrium on a Monday during FroZen Musical period, and the price was $58 per adult. Service was attentive with plate clearing, and friendly counter staff.Food was fresh and plentiful with the laksa from the noodle station a winner compared to the Tom yum soup last time.More Tips:Tip 3: remember to validate your parking voucher from the multi-storey carpark when paying to receive complimentary parking ($20)Tip 4: Redeem 25% off from your Entertainment App if you have purchased the current appFeb’22We have tried the Atrium Buffet three times between Dec-Feb to experience their variety across Christmas, Lunar New Year and normal menu.We enjoyed the variety of hot and cold, western & eastern, and various sweets choices.The hot noodle station ranges from tom yum noodle, to laksa noodle across the different days. With the costs ranging from $45 to $70 per person for lunch during the last three month, the value for money will depend on when you go.Seafood wise, we found the oysters fresh and tasty enough, and while the salmon sashimi were fresh & tasty, they were quite cut quite wasteful thick per slice as stated by other reviewers.Service wise, it’s a mixed experience as we had services that range from mediocre to fantastic across the three dining days.Tip 1: for lunchtime dining, it would be better to dine in the upper level because the sunlight can get quite hot and glaring during dining while the sun moves slowly westward because of the glass roof.Tip 2 : Crown offers 10% discount off the bill for your birthday month if you join their free Rewards program, which also include free glass of sparkling wine for each adult, and a box of chocolate for the birthday member. Remember to ask the waiter for the wine and chocolate as some of them may not be aware.

Great bang for your buck for the all you can eat. 20 bucks and it’s just good basic food with a big selection. We will for sure be heading back!

Staff pour all oysters on to their dirty ice in one to instead of one at a time to make sure that’s the shell that in contact with ice.Talked to staff and response was “guy is still in training”, and they flipped all of them so it “looks nice” despite they’re contaminated once in contact with the ice.Sent a follow up email to the hotel but ignored. Not what I would have expected at a 5-star hotel.

We had the pleasure of having my uncle's 70th Birthday party in the function room this weekend 03/06/23. On behalf of the Oakes family I would like to say thank you for an impeccable service. The waiters were always available to assist the guests and the host (Skye) was absolutely amazing help to our family whilst organising this event. The food was so delicious and from a very big South African family, this is definitely a compliment. Many of us stayed over after the function and the rooms were really good. My second time staying here and this time we had a family suite so the kids could stay with the baby sitter right upstairs. It was conveniently situation right across from the function room so we could slip out and check up on the kids throughout the night. They also graciously allowed us a late check out which was much appreciated after a fun night of dancing. The clean state of the hotel meant we had beautiful backdrops for our many photos. Anyone looking for a venue for a function, I highly recommend the Swan River Hotel. Well done.
